The purpose of the project is to provide comprehensive support to migrants who expose their physical and mental integrity.

Last April 29, of 2023, a basketball game took place between Alimerka Oviedo and Morabanc Andorra. This was in order to make visible the Nador project of the NGO Entreculturas. Every season, the Alimerka team collaborates with Entreculturas.

This entity, which is located in Morocco, assists people migrating to Europe; these, journeys that can take months or even years. Most of the people come from Sub-Saharan Africa, crossing Morocco in the hope of reaching the borders between the two continents.

During the journey, migrants experience extremely precarious conditions. They face various difficulties, risking their physical and mental health. And they do not have protection and accompaniment services.

The purpose of the Nador project

The purpose of this project is to provide comprehensive support to migrants who risk their lives, focusing mainly on the most vulnerable. IBecause it is necessary to give value to all lives, the right to mobility and human dignity.  The NGO Entreculturas carries out the following intervention strategies:

• Accompaniment and medical assistance.
• Social accompaniment and donation of basic necessities.
• Administrative and legal support.
• Psychosocial support
• Spaces to accommodate the most vulnerable migrants, such as pregnant women, children, the sick or injured.

The NGO Entreculturas carries out this cooperation project in Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. It works to defend the rights of the most vulnerable groups, mainly women and girls who are victims of violence and migrant and refugee populations.

AdditionallyLikewise, Entreculturas promotes the importance of education, since education is inclusion. EntreculturasHe argues that it is possible to provide education with equal opportunities.

Finally, the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University) (UNIB) offers the Master in Project Design, Administration, and Management.
