The metaverse represents a virtual scenario, which is expected to represent a large market in the future. The immersive and hyper-realistic experiences it promises have generated great expectation among investors.
The metaverse model proposes a new 3D approach to work, procurement, housing, and service models. Therefore, architects will acquire more scope, having the responsibility to design and plan that “universe.”
A passing trend?
The idea of a digital space for hospitality, shopping, casinos, housing, and entertainment is actually possible without going out of fashion. Companies such as ADIDAS are betting on the stability of these spaces being one of the most important investors in the virtual space.
Another company committed to implementing the metaverse is Epic Games. They were in charge of establishing contact with investors and proposing projects for the possibility of implementing the metaverse in the long term.
A reality not too far away
At present, the first moves in the market for the inauguration of an economically sustainable metaverse have already been made. Krista Kim was the first artist to sell her design for the metaverse, and transaction models such as bitcoin and NFT (Non Fungible Token) make it possible to trade in a space that initially looks promising.
The task of designing the metaverse in terms of space has gained popularity. Designers and architects have always seen how their task first arises in a “metaspace” and then moves on to reality. Now, however, your design could even break the laws of physics and build itself into the metaverse, giving your creativity and economy endless possibilities.
