This tool was designed to fit the needs and preferences of workers and employers.

Digitization, hybrid work, and dispersed teams changed the way companies work; also the way people experience their work. Everything indicates that work will never be the same and has generated a cultural change in workers and companies.

Hybrid work challenges the face-to-face mode and the 8-to-5 schedule; people have changed the reason why and what they work for. They also question when and how they do it and look for opportunities that allow them greater flexibility and freedom to pursue other activities.

On the one hand, hybrid work has created opportunities, however, it also presents challenges; such as the sense of belonging, communication with dispersed teams, corporate culture, learning, feedback, etc.

Microsoft creates Viva, a digital platform

This tool has four basic modules: Viva Connections, Viva Insights, Viva Learning, and Viva Topics. These modules give workers a personalized and centralized experience to interact and collaborate with peers and leaders virtually.

Viva Connections

It is a communication platform that allows employees to learn about company news and updates. It also allows interaction between colleagues, participation in virtual events, and meetings to create more human bonds.

Viva Insights

Provides information on the well-being and productivity of workers. It also helps them improve their focus and balance at work.

Viva Learning

This module provides various virtual learning resources, such as courses, trainings, expert content, and company resources.

Viva Topics

This module uses artificial intelligence to help workers find and share important knowledge and resources.

This platform was designed to fit the needs and preferences of workers and employers. It is, therefore, a relevant tool for optimizing worker productivity and well-being. With this tool, it is possible to minimize turnover and resignation rates in companies.
